Welcome to Icecap River Kennels, or Eiskappe Fluss Zwinger.

The Environment
Being in Ohio, summer is warm and sunny and even sometimes humid while winter is at lower temperatures and snowfall. All animals will be kept inside to sleep in warm beds on cold nights. Food and water is provided two to three times a day. Dogs will be allowed to run around freely for a few hours to get daily exercise. Most dogs will be entered in the training program so they can learn basic tricks, commands, and increase agility and intelligence.
Breeding
We offer breeding of dogs in our kennel in exchange for points. This means we will breed the two dogs and you get a choice of two pups from their four to six litter. The rest are put up for adoption. All puppies are cared for until they go to their forever homes, socialized with many people while they are here! So you know if you get a puppy, it will have excellent temperament, drive, and good hips and elbows. Pregnant females will be kept indoors. Most dogs will be available for breeding (if not spayed/neutered) when they are six to twelve months. Please note us if you are interested!
Adopting
Sometimes dogs in our kennel are put up for adoption. Pups will be raised here until they are at least four weeks, and will then be put up for adoption. They will continue living in our kennel until they have been adopted. Mature dogs will be put up for adoption or be kept at the kennels for their lifetime. If you are interested in a specific dog, please let us know!

Expanding our Kennels
